Orders & Delivery

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. UK delivery typically takes 5–8 business days via DHL Express with full tracking. International orders (USA, Australia) take 5–10 business days. You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order is dispatched.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes. All UK orders over £50 are delivered free. Orders under £50 carry a flat £6.95 charge. International orders over £150 are delivered free. Full DHL Express tracking is included on every order.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia. If you are outside these regions, please email hello@studiovela.co.uk and we will do our best to help.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We dispatch orders quickly. If you need to make a change, please email hello@studiovela.co.uk as soon as possible after placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate you before dispatch.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day returns policy. If you are not completely satisfied, return any unused item in its original condition and packaging within 30 days for a full refund.

How do I return an item?

Email hello@studiovela.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We will send a prepaid returns label within one working day.

How long does a refund take?

Refunds are processed within 3–5 working days of receiving your return. You will receive a confirmation email when it is processed.

Products

Are handmade products exactly as shown?

Our ceramics, marble pieces, and woven textiles are made by hand in small batches. Slight natural variations in glaze, pattern, colour, and form are inherent to handcrafted and natural-stone objects. We consider this a feature of the material — no two pieces are identical.

Is your marble real stone?

Yes. Studio Vela marble products — Carrara, Nero Marquina, and travertine — are natural stone. Each piece is cut from genuine stone and carries the natural veining and colour variation of its origin. We do not use resin or synthetic stone alternatives.

How should I care for my marble pieces?

Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar, wine) as these can etch natural stone. Do not submerge in water. Marble develops a natural patina over time — this is desirable, not damage.

How should I care for my textiles?

Throws and cushion covers: dry clean or gentle hand wash recommended. Linen covers may be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle and will soften beautifully with each wash. Always flat dry or dry away from direct heat.

How should I care for my candles?

Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn. Burn for at least 2 hours on the first light to achieve a full melt pool and prevent tunnelling. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to set fully between burns.
